With just two more appetizers to whet our appetites tonight, and the most exciting four days of the sports calendar beckoning tomorrow, you may be pondering a few important questions:
- Just who is going to win this damn Tournament anyway?
- What should my Final Four look like?
- How do I watch NCAA Tournament games online (or on my iPhone, iPad, or Android) since I have to work tomorrow and Friday?
Luckily for you, you came to the right place.
To answer the first question: who the hell knows. But I've already submitted two sets of bracket predictions (one based on the "Four Factors" and the other based on my own gut feelings) and Andy, and who knows everything about college hoops, submitted his picks this morning. I guess that's a good a place as any to look for guidance.
As to the Final Four, our entire team submitted Final Four predictions. And this post on the history of the Final Four should help you to at least put the odds in your favor.
How Do I Watch NCAA Tournament Games Online?
And now to the third question, the real reason why you're here, and fortunately the answer is simple, though not necessarily free. Well, the answer is free, but the actual process of watching March Madness games online isn't.
To watch NCAA Tournament games online this year you have numerous options. You can access March Madness live here at the NCAA website, or you can download the app onto your iPhone, iPad, or Android simply by searching for "march madness live" in the App store (or whatever the Android equivalent is, since I don't have one).
There is a catch this year though: you have to pay $3.99 for access.
But here is the great thing about that $3.99:
- It's a one-time payment that gives you access to all 67 games of the tournament.
- It works for your computer and all mobile devices; you only pay it once and your account works on any device.
- From the reports I saw on Twitter last night, notable from @FangsBites, the HD video looked immaculate on the iPad.
Even if you only need the online access to watch games Thursday and Friday afternoon at work, $3.99 seems like a paltry price to pay for high-quality video of some of the most exciting sports action of the year. If you miss out on a great upset or buzzer-beater because you didn't want to pay $3.99, you'll feel like a putz, mainly because you would, at that point, legitimately be a putz.
So don't be a putz. Get yourself access to March Madness Live if you're going to be away from your TV for even 30 seconds.
(Note: none of these links are affiliate links and I don't make a dime if you sign up. I just always try to take it upon myself to prevent MSF readers from being regret-filled putzes whenever I can. You're welcome. And thanks for coming to us for the answers to your burning March Madness questions.)
