Anthony Davis injures left knee during Baylor game - USA TODAY
Mar 25th 2012, 19:56

With 18:38 left in the second half of Kentucky's regional final game against Baylor, Anthony Davis went up for a shot and collided with Perry Jones III. Davis landed awkwardly on his left leg.

Davis was down on the floor clutching his left knee for a few moments, but eventually got up and walked (with a limp) to the sidelines.

After brief attention from a team trainer, Davis returned to the game. Kentucky was leading by 20 points at the time.

Davis continued to grimace and limp while playing.

According to ESPN's Andy Katz, the official Kentucky diagnosis for Davis' injury is a left knee contusion.

Davis played a couple of minutes, returned to the Wildcats' bench with about 14 minutes remaining in the game, and then went back into the game. He didn't miss much game time at all.
