Tonight, the #6 Cincinnati Bearcats will face off with the #3 Florida State Seminoles at 9:40 P.M. at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on TBS for the right to advance to the Sweet Sixteen. FSU is coming off a too-close-for-comfort 3-point win over St. Bonaventure in the opening round of tournament play. The Seminoles escaped, winning 66-63 and will need to play better against Cincinnati, a squad with more talent than the Bonnies, if they want to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
Cincinnati is also coming off a close game. They beat Texas by 6 in a 65-59 game. The Bearcats can play the best of them and will look to prove it today against the higher ranked Seminoles.

(Florida St. is) coming up against another very physical team in Cincinnati in the Round of 32. Their defense completely stifled Texas while Yancy Gates had a fantastic game on both ends of the floor. Cincinnati don't have the size of Florida State, but they're a very tough team. This is likely to be an extremely physical and defensive matchup.
The winner of this game will go on to face the powerhouse Ohio State Buckeyes in the Sweet Sixteen as representatives of the East, fighting for a coveted spot in the Elite Eight.
