Ohio upset Michigan in their first tournament game, winning 65-60, upsetting the favored Wolverines early. They find themselves now in the unlikely position of fighting for a spot in the Sweet Sixteen.

USF also won in an upset, defeating the fifth ranked Temple Owls by a margin of 14 in a game that ended with a final score of 58-44. The Bulls defense was smothering and the victory set the stage for a matchup of middle of the pack teams fighting for their tournament lives.

Here's more on this game from SB Nation:

South Florida's style of basketball is going to keep Ohio hanging around, even if they can't duplicate their performance against Michigan.

USF meets the Ohio Bobcats in the Round of 32 after they knocked off Michigan. Their performance was an incredible one and it's tough to believe that they can repeat it, but it's not like USF are going to attempt to run away with this one. Their style of basketball should keep this close, even if Ohio plays poorly.

The winner of this game will go on to face the winner of the matchup between UNC and Creighton, representing the Midwest in the Sweet Sixteen.
