'The Walking Dead' game debuts this April - USA TODAY Mar 20th 2012, 17:42 The first episode of the adventure game based on hit comic book series The Walking Dead will debut this April. The project from Telltale Games will be available for PCs, Macs, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with more formats to follow. The game stars Lee Everett, a convicted criminal roaming a world infested by zombies. "Running around with a gun isn't what The Walking Dead is about; it's about is how people caught in an apocalypse deal with facing their own death every day, and the horrible choices they have to make to survive," says series creator Robert Kirkman in a statement. "Telltale's game series has captured the spirit of the comic books perfectly." The popular comic book series has also spawned an equally successful TV show, which runs on AMC. Telltale Games has been quite busy of late, having released episodic adventure titles based on classic film franchises Back to the Future and Jurassic Park.
